Our schedule management program enables companies to lead an organized efficient and productive effort to manage all the issues that will potentially affect their project’s critical path.  The program utilizes our software to establish work processes, develop routines and promote proactive problem solving.  Our program is set up into three different phases.  Implementation should start with phase 1 Building an Accurate project schedule, then move to phase 2 Weekly Management of your project schedule, then finally to Phase 3 Daily Management of your project schedule.  The details of our program are listed below, and each step is linked to a more detailed description listed under our software pages.

Project Schedule

  1. Manual scheduling with a pencil and paper.
  2. Basic computerized scheduling.
  3. Use a detailed template schedule to reduce time to produce a project schedule.
  4. Spend time to build a detailed accurate schedule with specific calculated tasks by doing a detailed plan review.
  5. Involve the Project Superintendent in building the project schedule.
  6. Identify an accurate critical path.

Weekly Schedule

  1. Update the schedule weekly at a minimum.
  2. Utilize the Project Schedule to identify a 2-week game plan.
  3. Communicate the schedule updates on a weekly basis.
  4. Prioritize critical tasks over non critical tasks.
  5. Provide Superintendents with more than a pencil and paper as their only tool to plan their project's activities.
  6. Use the 2-Week Schedule as a planning tool.
  7. Transform non-productive superintendents into productive superintendents.
  8. Integrate technology into the work processes of the Project +Superintendent.
  9. Use one central document that contains all the outstanding details in the project.
  10. Use the project schedule to plan the submittal process and material deliveries.
  11. Identify how each of the Submittals, RFIs, and RFPs affect the project schedule.
  12. Provide your Project Superintendents with the tools they need to become more organized, efficient, and productive Project Team Leaders.

Daily Schedule

  1. Establish a Daily Routine for the Project Superintendent to accomplish the daily activities.
  2. Utilize the project schedule to identify tomorrow's job site activities.
  3. Prioritize tomorrow's critical tasks over non critical tasks.
  4. Communicate tomorrow's job site activities to each foreman.
  5. Know each day if each foreman is committed to accomplishing tomorrow's critical tasks.
  6. Know each morning that critical tasks are being accomplished. 
  7. Know if your projects accomplish the critical tasks needed to stay on schedule each day.
  8. Produce a daily report utilizing the information in the Daily Schedule.
  9. Management knows if the project is on schedule each day and what corrective action to take.
  10. Evaluate the Project Superintendent's daily routine to identify areas that need improvement by producing a daily score on the daily report.
